Leadership Development

I have a few experiences with leadership at Namaste, as I have been fortunate enough to fill several different roles. When I first came to Namaste, I was able to be out in the field seeing our families and patients. In the field when you have the gift of autonomy, it can feel lonely. Never once did I feel lonely. I had frequent calls with my supervisor and I always felt supported by our leadership team. I always felt seen and heard. I then was given an opportunity to take a role in leadership and begin the journey of the Leadership Development Program. As a previous member of the military, assuming a role in leadership was a large learning curve for me. Being supported and backed up by the most talented group of humans is always a breath of fresh air.
Erika Peppler - MSW, Psy-Social Team Supervisor

At Namaste Home Health and Hospice, we always want to create opportunities for career growth for each of our employees. We believe in creating a track for those who are excited to become the next leaders of Namaste. When we coupled opportunity for career growth with our core value passion for learning, we have created the Leadership Development Program.

2021 marks our third year of the program. Team members wanting to further their leadership skills will interview to join the program and be engaged with extensive coaching and mentorship. The program contains multiple levels, each requiring a series of tasks and achievements to advance to the next level. Team members participating in the leadership development program will develop the skills and be given the tools necessary to achieve their individual and professional goals. The leadership development program has three tracks Financial Ops, Clinical Ops, Business Development Ops.

Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others. —Jack Welch
